Supporting Your Mental Health Journey

My Story

My curiosity in human behaviour came initially from within as I struggled to navigate the world as a teenager in a way that felt good for me. I went on to notice this in myself and others as an adult through my work as a Personal Trainer and Lifestyle Coach. It seemed there was more going on in people's lives that was contributing to not reaching or sustaining physical goals.  I wanted to understand how psychology affected behaviour in more depth.

My Training

I studied for 5 years to achieve a PG Dip in Therapeutic Counselling and continue to stay up to date with ongoing advances in approaches to therapy and engage in continuing professional development by attending workshops, courses and lectures. I also work on my own personal development so that I can provide a stable and secure space for clients feel safe and in trusted hands.

My Experience

Since qualifying 10 years ago I have worked as a therapist in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre as well as doing hospice counselling.

I opened my private practice in 2019 and have been working with my own personal clients since then. I find it a privelage and an honour to do what I do and I am a proud member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and work to their ethical and good practice standards.

Why White Cloud?

Clouds Passing: Why Impermanence Is Our Greatest Source of Stability

When life changes—a relationship ends, a job disappears, our body ages—we feel shocked, betrayed, or lost. But impermanence is the central fact of existence.

Nothing stays the same, and allowing change helps us come to a place of acceptance. Through new perspectives we can restore peace and reduce our suffering.

It can take time for the clouds to move but therapy can greatly help that transformative experience to occur.  It helps us to unlearn old   patterns that can keep us stuck and remove barriers that prevent us moving forwards. It helps us to let go of what no longer serves us and move into our full potential.
